Fundraising Ideas

We’ve shared a list of connections and ideas to help you grow your chapter. These are contacts and ideas that don’t require a ton of planning, volunteers, or work. Contact each one to see if they can help build your volunteer list and donations. These are ideas come from chapters that have been successful with these groups.

If you have had success with a group, please reach out to website@shpbeds.org and we’ll add them so other chapters can benefit in their communities.

Sports Team Foundations

The Cleveland Browns NFL team, have a Foundation that each year, awards three (3) grant donations of $2000 to Browns Backer Clubs across America. These clubs are fans that gather to watch the games and do good in their community.

Check with your local sports team meeting place. Many meet at pubs or sports bars and do good in their community. They give local donations and their corporate teams do too.

SAE Charity Partnership

SHP recently became one of the chairty partners for the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. 100 Who Care Alliance

Made up of 100 Women Who Care, 100 Men Who Care, 100 People Who Care, 100 Businesses Who Care, and 100 Kids Who Care groups. There are currently more than 700 100 Who Care giving circles making a huge impact in local communities. It’s a great organization where you give a 3 minute speech about SHP and they select one of the three non-profits giving a pitch that day.

Kiwanis

Kiwanis helps kids around the world. Kiwanis clubs host nearly 150,000 service projects each year and their clubs raise more than US$100 million to support community causes. Some clubs perform hands-on community service; others raise funds to distribute throughout the community.

David Weekley Homes

David Weekley Homes are home builders across the country and each year have their teams work in the community and donate money to those causes. They will sponsor a bed build and bring their team members for a sponsored build day event. You can even see SHP results in their impact reports.

Keller-Willams Red Day
