At SHP, we fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional, and mental support that a child needs. When it was brought to our attention that the need for beds went far beyond our own neighborhoods, we stepped up and took initiative. We’re a national organization answering the call to a national problem. Your donations go directly to building beds and to helping a kid in need get off the floor.

For transparency’s sake, here’s how we use all donations that are given to us. All monetary donations are tax-deductible.

IN-KIND DONATIONS
There are many other ways to donate to SHP besides a financial contribution and get involved with your local Chapter. Or you can make an in-kind donation to a Chapter.
- New twin-sized sheet sets, comforters, and bed-in-a-bag
- Pillows
- Wood and other construction material for Build Days
- Tools
SHP Chapters are also grateful to businesses that provide any of the above items at a discount or reduced rate. In-kind donations offset operating costs and allow us to build more beds.

JOIN THE BUNKHEAD CLUB
When you give $20 or more each month for a year, your recurring donation equals the cost of a new SHP bed, complete with bedding, a pillow and a twin mattress. When you join the Bunkhead Club, you become part of the SHP family. You can help your local Chapter by selecting them from the dropdown.
