This is your reminder to make sure you sign up for one of our training sessions on the volunteer information moving into the Chapter Portal. This is essential information you will need as we move out of CX.
Hello SHP Family. It is finally that time – time to move volunteer registration and tracking over to the Chapter Portal! I am excited to begin this new phase of volunteer tracking and major improvements to your abilities to be able to track and check in your volunteers.
Here is the timeline:
- Live training will begin on Monday, December 12th @ 6:00 MT. Then we will provide at least two trainings a day on Tuesday through Friday of the week.
- See below for those times and register to the one(s) you feel you can make. All sessions will be only one hour.
- The CX volunteer system will be shut down on Wednesday, December 14th! That means all access to CX/InMoment will be done that evening. If you need any information from there you will need to complete it by 11:00 MT of the 14th.
- The new Chapter Portal Volunteer Sign in and process will become effective Wednesday, December 14th.
Here are a few of the features that are going to be in the new system:
- Shift schedules
- Email to volunteer providing date/time of volunteer activity
- Enhanced Volunteer reporting
- Creation of individual Builds/events for volunteers to sign up
Team – we are so excited to see these enhancements and look forward to the growth this will provide. As with any change comes the need to understand and know what is coming. I encourage you to come ready to learn and be ready for the change. Sometimes change is hard as it affects the way we do things. Have an open mind, be willing to change and know that you will have to do things differently. Also, keep in mind that this is for everyone – no matter the size and number of beds your chapter builds or delivers!
