This past weekend was the 6th annual Bunks Across America bed build event benefiting the nonprofit, Sleep In Heavily Peace. We saw over 40 Lowe’s Stores host thousands of volunteers as they came together with the goal of building 8,000 beds in one day. 🛠️💙 #LowesLife #BunksAcrossAmerica

This past Saturday, Sept. 14, a team of dedicated ITA volunteers rolled up their sleeves and participated in the annual Bunks Across America event, an initiative by Sleep in Heavenly Peace, aimed at providing beds to children in need. Together, we built 50 beds for children in need—10 of which were funded and constructed directly by our ITA team.

At ITA, we believe in making a difference where it counts. Thanks to the collective efforts of communities and volunteers across the nation, this year's event aimed to engage 15,000 volunteers to help provide 8,000 beds in just one day.

No child should have to sleep on the floor in our town—or any town. That’s why we are proud to support Sleep in Heavenly Peace and their mission to ensure that every child has a safe and comfortable place to sleep at night.

A huge thank you to our ITA volunteers. Together, we are building more than just beds; we are building hope and a better future for children.

What an incredible weekend! Our church partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and with the help of 241 volunteers, we built 54 beds for kids in need in our community. From drilling and sanding to assembling and stacking, every person played a role in making sure no child sleeps on the floor. A huge thank you to our church family, the awesome teams from Lowe’s, New York Life, the Navy and all who made this possible.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace chapters throughout North America hosted Bunks Across America build day yesterday. It brought together volunteers and amazing sponsors in a powerful rallying point for communities to help alleviate child bedlessness in their town.

Spent the afternoon covered in sawdust building beds with YMSL DougCo for Sleep In Heavenly Peace’s annual Bunks Across America Build Day. The event resulted in 150 new beds that will be delivered to kids in need throughout Denver. It was awesome connecting with our new members and catching up with a few friends from ymslboulderco as well. If you’re a mom with an 8th grade son, ask me about enrollment for next season. We are growing quickly and offer awesome opportunities to connect with your son while helping those in need ❤️
