About Us
This chapter was started in October 2022 with students at Central High School in the Geometry in Construction class building beds. It has quickly grown to be a community-wide organization and effort to make sure no child sleeps on the floor in our town! Our goal was to build a minimum of 100 beds for our local children in 2023. Thank you to all of the members of our community who helped to proudly surpass that goal by building and delivering 178 beds!! The goal is build that many beds again in 2024!
We are now accepting bed requests for Grand Junction, Clifton, Palisade, Fruita, Loma, Mack, and Whitewater. The wait for a bed depends on the need, volunteers, and our current funding available to build more beds.
Bedding Need
Donations of NEW twin-size sheets, comforters, quilts, and pillows are much appreciated! Quilt dimensions need to be 86” – 90” in length and 60”- 66” in width, with the very minimum being 60”x86”. Unfortunately, we cannot accept used items. In addition to our drop-off locations below bedding can be shipped directly to: Central High School – SHP 550 Warrior Way / Grand Junction, CO 81504
