Disaster Relief

The Disaster Relief Program is rolling forth and gaining more ground each and every day. We participated in the Rose bowl build and then took those 100 bunks to Paradise CA for a delivery day. The town was bleak and for the most part looked like it did weeks after the devastating fires. But just like everything SHP related, the feelings of joy were strong as we gifted those families new beds. Our first delivery day was a success and we look forward to expanding our efforts and helping where we can. Chapters, of you know of a way DRP can help after a disaster please reach out. We Look forward to developing this amazing program further with your help.

Also, Thank you to all that put so much time and effort helping, vetting, or even lifting beds. I appreciate you.

Marketing Message

SHP Family,

I hope you can join me in wishing our former Social Media Manager, Mike Bond, safety and success in Afghanistan during his current deployment. We appreciate everything he did for SHP including helping us make BAA such a huge success, and can’t wait for his return to rejoin our team.

I also wanted to welcome a bright new addition to our SHP Family and the Marketing Team, Stephanie Taylor. Stephanie is a talented creative professional with experience and background in web and social media marketing, and has stepped up to take on the role as our new Social Media Manager. We are very excited to work with her and see what her unique talents and experience can do for SHP. If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas about SHP’s social media strategy, or would like additional training on how to make your chapter’s efforts more effective, please reach out to Stephanie at stephanie.taylor@shpbeds.org. Thanks!
