Starting a New Chapter

Thank you for your interest in applying to start a chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) in your community. We are excited to get to know you and help you decide. When you take the focus off yourself and put it on doing good things around you, we believe you receive true joy. However, there are many things you need to consider before taking on the responsibility of leading a chapter.

Our Why

Running a chapter of SHP in your city will be a challenging and rewarding experience. You’ll know it’s all worth it when you see the smile on the face of a child who may be receiving the first bed of their life from you. We couldn’t be more proud of the leadership our Chapter Presidents demonstrate in their communities; it takes heart and a genuine commitment to our mission and the families in each of the communities we serve.

What it Takes

All of our chapters are started and run by local volunteers. To be a Chapter President is to be a part of something truly special. It’s being part of a network whose focus is to help you succeed in raising money, building beds, and delivering beds.
